Stuck

The older I get the more I’m starting to see life like a marathon. The disciplined men make it to the end while the race makes waste of the impatient. Already on lap 22 I’m moving slow and steady, but I just can’t shake the feeling that something strange is about to happen. Almost moments later I can see my life coach wave at me from a distance. Her name was Mrs. Barbara and let’s just say she made living a bit more interesting. She apologized for the random pop up, but figured it was justified for what she had to show me. Then out of nowhere she pulls out her latest innovation, something she likes to call the “Test Vest”. One by one she fastens every strap until I’m fully secured, then she stood me up and told me to walk if I could. I took one, I took two and then BAM! I immediately fall to my knees as the weight was too heavy. Down and defeated she leans in to tell me that this is the stress that life can bring, then she pats me on the back and said “I’ll see you next week.” Days go by and I’m still left stagnant in the spot she left me in, just patiently waiting until the weights of life lift up.

Guys I just have one question

Have you ever felt stuck?
